New from the Half Sumo foundry a new ultra comfortable pearl weave backpack inspired by all our favorite Submissions & Positions. 

We purposely used a durable and machine washable 450gsm Pearl Weave as an homage to the classic Gi and uniforms used by the masters of the past, and matched it with heavy duty 600D Nylon Cordura fabric at the points where the bag needs to be wear resistant or might come in contact with wet surfaces -  top (rain) or bottom (wet gym floors etc).

We have chosen a two buckles system and an internal drawstring for a secure closure during traveling or any adventure; it will keep your contents safely inside, and any unwanted hands and fingers out.

An internal nylon lining was added to allow you to put used GIs and other sweaty training gear in this backpack without having it transpire uncomfortably on the outside. 

Following Half Sumo tradition we have professionally sublimated the water resistant nylon internal lining with hand drawn irezumi style drawings meticulously designed by our talented  head designer Warnhart. 

Copious Position & Submission inspired flat woven patches adorn this unique backpack, with some cool BJJ  references and easter eggs ( can you spot them all? ).

The patches are all with velcro backing so you can remove them all for a darker and cleaner overall look, or you can swap them around or add your own as you see fit, kind of cool right? Look inside the backpack for some extra patches. 

Zipper side pockets and a few other hidden pouches make for comfortable storage of water bottles, portable electronics and valuables without mixing it with your other training gear stored in the main compartment. 

The Submissions + Positions bag can fit all your training or competition traveling needs. We were able to fit without sweating a kimono, a towel, a rashguard, shorts and even our opponents leg we collected during the fight. 

Easy to clean, the bag can be tossed in the wash after every use to get rid of any lingering smells.

 We ship to virtually any address in the world, either domestic or international.

VERY IMPORTANT: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a safe and proven address. Due to fraud concerns we will not refund any orders marked as delivered by USPS/UPS/DHL- Please double check the correct spelling of the address when placing the order. We will not be responsible for packages claimed as lost when the tracking shows it was delivered to the address provided. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Q:"How much will it cost to ship to xyz country?"
A: The system will calculate automatically the shipping cost at checkout based on the number of the items and their weight.

You will have a chance to review your order and the shipping costs before you are asked to finalize your order and your Credit Card is charged.


Q:"How long will it take for my order to be processed?"

A: Our staff will process your order within 24 business hrs and hand it over to the most reliable shipping provider for the selected destination ( UPS or USPS )

Q:"How long will it take for my order to be delivered?"

A: All US domestic orders are generally delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Please note that both carriers will not deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International orders, due to distance and custom/import delays generally are in transit for 10 to 15 days from the date of shipping.

CUSTOMS & DUTY For International Buyers - Please understand that delays due to foreign custom clearance etc. are a possibility, and the buyer is ultimately responsible for all duty and custom charges when applicable. We have noticed at times that the USPS/UPS tracking number does not update once the package is in a foreign country. Customers in the past were able to retrieve their packages from their local post office using the tracking number provided, although the mail service online site had no additional information

IMPORTANT: For both national and international shipments, the buyer is ultimately responsible with providing a "safe" delivery address. We will not be responsible for items marked as delivered by USPS or UPS, but claimed by the customer to never have been received or stolen by neighbors, dogs or aliens. It is your responsibility as a buyer to track the package and make sure someone is there to receive it, or provide a safe environment where the postman can drop it off.


Q:"Can the order be shipped to a hotel or temporary residence?"
No, due to the real possibility of delays due to holidays, weather or other logistic factors, we cannot ship any orders to hotels or other temporary residences. Make sure someone will be at the location at all times, or the order we'll be canceled before it is processed.
