Inspired by this duality of our appearance vs our untamed soul we have created this fully, and we mean fully, reversible lightweight aviator style jacket for the modern day ronin out there.

Making a bold return for 2024, this jacket strikes with the force of a heavy metal power chord and the precision of a katana’s blade. This exceptional piece of wearable art is crafted in collaboration with the legendary Matthew "Kiichi Chaos" Heafy of Trivium and Ibaraki.

The durable nylon shell will shield you from any light rain or wind; minimal patches on the arms, and a one color embroidery on the chest and back give this jacket a unique style, but can keep it classy and perfect to be worn in every occasion out on the town, on a date or even in a more formal setting. 

......But turn the jacket inside out, and unleash your inner Akuma!

Intricate Half Sumo irezumi style hand drawn graphics were reproduced in full technicolor in great detail through a high quality sublimation process that will last for the ages. 


The reversible zipper, the inner pockets and more, was designed for a fully reversible experience.

The name tag on the back doubles as a convenient fabric hook that helps hang dry the jacket after being out in the rain. 

Most other companies always save some dough choosing cheaper zippers etc, but we have selected the best zippers on the market -YKK - to go along with our new jacket, for unparalleled durability.

Magical jacket

I recently purchased a jacket from half sumo that, to my surprise, turned out to be more than just a piece of clothing. This jacket, with its sleek design and comfortable fit, somehow endowed me with incredible martial arts powers!
The moment I put on the jacket, I felt a surge of energy coursing through my body. My reflexes sharpened, my strength increased, and I suddenly had the agility of a seasoned martial artist. It was as if the jacket had unlocked a hidden potential within me.
One day, I found myself facing a seemingly insurmountable obstacle: a towering wall that I needed to climb to retrieve a friend’s lost item. Normally, this would have been impossible for me, but with my new-found abilities, I felt confident.
With a deep breath, I approached the wall. My movements were fluid and precise, and I scaled the wall with ease. It felt like a scene straight out of an action movie. I reached the top, retrieved the item, and descended gracefully, all thanks to the jacket.
This jacket has truly been a game-changer for me. Not only does it look great, but it also gave me the confidence and ability to overcome a significant challenge. If you’re looking for a jacket that can do more than just make you look good, this is the one for you!

The large fits me well aside from it being a tad bit long and on the lighter side - compared to a shorter heavier aviator jacket I own. This works great for me because I can choose which one I need according to the weather. I would've loved a chest pocket on the inside for a wallet or phone. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. The inside reversible design is cool if you're into that, but it's just too busy and cluttered looking for me. I could also do without the name Kiichi all over in multiple places.. No biggie, I bought it for the Oni on the back anyway. Which is by far one of the best designs I've seen on any type of jacket. The small design elements like the zipper pull, little patches and Seigaiha waves on the cuffs and collar are outstanding. Aside from my little gripes I really love this jacket!

Nice artwork, only tried it a handful of times and it feels warm. I would recommend get 1 size up. Really nice and detailed design, highly recommend to anyone out there.

As always, love the art, materials seemed underwhelming

I love the artistic style of the brand. However, I found the jacket material underwhelming. The fabric felt a little plasticky or lower than expected quality, and when wearing the jacket it felt 'empty'. I was expecting more weight because it's called an Aviator Jacket, which has always been meant to keep someone warm (not for arctic weather). When I see Aviator Jacket (or its cousin the Bomber Jacket), I don't think of flimsy, I think of padding and warm enough for a cool Fall night. With this jacket, I'd have to layer a hoodie underneath, which is always a cool look.
