Legend has it that the ghosts of the defeated Taira clan found eternal refuge in the bodies of Heikegani crabs, their faces forever etched into the crabs’ shells as a reminder of their tragic fall. Imagine the terror centuries ago when locals stumbled upon these eerie creatures, seeing the faces of the fallen staring back from the beach. This myth is deeply tied to the story of Benkei—a loyal warrior monk whose unwavering courage and legendary encounters embody the essence of Bushido. His final stand echoes the lesson that true strength lies not in victory, but in loyalty, resilience, and sacrifice.

We’ve captured this spirit in our new Benkei Tee.
Using high-quality water-based ink, every detail tells a story— a tribute to myth and mastery.

Every detail has been reproduced with high fidelity on a premium cotton tee using waterbase ink to provide a soft and comfortable feel.  Every line, every brush stroke is like a katana strike that has left an indelible mark on the surface of this tee.

Please note for this tee we used our vintage blank. If you are usually size M, go ahead and order an M, but it will have a more comfortable, oversized feel than usual.


As always 100% cotton, crafted in the USA with heavier yarns, this garment has been hand-treated with intentional imperfections for authentically worn-in softness and style...pretty bad ass.

 We ship to virtually any address in the world, either domestic or international.

VERY IMPORTANT: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a safe and proven address. Due to fraud concerns we will not refund any orders marked as delivered by USPS/UPS/DHL- Please double check the correct spelling of the address when placing the order. We will not be responsible for packages claimed as lost when the tracking shows it was delivered to the address provided. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • The system will calculate automatically the shipping cost at checkout based on the number of the items and their weight.

    You will have a chance to review your order and the shipping costs before you are asked to finalize your order and your Credit Card is charged.

  • Our staff will process your order within 24 business hrs and hand it over to the most reliable shipping provider for the selected destination ( UPS or USPS )

  • All US domestic orders are generally delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Please note that both carriers will not deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

    International orders, due to distance and custom/import delays generally are in transit for 10 to 15 days from the date of shipping.

    CUSTOMS & DUTY For International Buyers - Please understand that delays due to foreign custom clearance etc. are a possibility, and the buyer is ultimately responsible for all duty and custom charges when applicable. We have noticed at times that the USPS/UPS tracking number does not update once the package is in a foreign country. Customers in the past were able to retrieve their packages from their local post office using the tracking number provided, although the mail service online site had no additional information

    IMPORTANT: For both national and international shipments, the buyer is ultimately responsible with providing a "safe" delivery address. We will not be responsible for items marked as delivered by USPS or UPS, but claimed by the customer to never have been received or stolen by neighbors, dogs or aliens. It is your responsibility as a buyer to track the package and make sure someone is there to receive it, or provide a safe environment where the postman can drop it off.

  • No, due to the real possibility of delays due to holidays, weather or other logistic factors, we cannot ship any orders to hotels or other temporary residences. Make sure someone will be at the location at all times, or the order we'll be canceled before it is processed.
