ntroducing the new Ryu Pearl Weave Tote Bag by Half Sumo—a bold creation inspired by dragon lore and designed for the modern martial artist. Crafted in striking 450gsm Pearl Weave kimono material, reinfoirced by a sublimated nylon internal lining, this bag is our all around every day go to bag.  

Every detail is a nod to strength and resilience, with intricate Irezumi-style dragon art and patches symbolizing power and transformation. Reinforced with two BJJ Belt inspired straps/handles, this bag is easy to hold on to and carry around even when resting our your shoulder.

Following Half Sumo tradition we have professionally sublimated the water resistant nylon internal lining with hand drawn irezumi style drawings depicting samurai in battle and other bushido lore.

Colorful flat woven patches adorn this unique backpack, with some cool BJJ  references and easter eggs ( can you spot them all? ).

The new Ryu Tote bag measures 16x15 Inches, and can fit a kimono and a few extra items needed for your daily training needs. Not too small, not too large, we purposely made it the right size for city living. 

Easy to clean, the bag can be tossed in the wash after every use to get rid of any lingering smells.

NOTE: Free shipping applies to retail orders only, not valid for wholesale orders. 

 We ship to virtually any address in the world, either domestic or international.

VERY IMPORTANT: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a safe and proven address. Due to fraud concerns we will not refund any orders marked as delivered by USPS/UPS/DHL- Please double check the correct spelling of the address when placing the order. We will not be responsible for packages claimed as lost when the tracking shows it was delivered to the address provided. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • The system will calculate automatically the shipping cost at checkout based on the number of the items and their weight.

    You will have a chance to review your order and the shipping costs before you are asked to finalize your order and your Credit Card is charged.

  • Our staff will process your order within 24 business hrs and hand it over to the most reliable shipping provider for the selected destination ( UPS or USPS )

  • All US domestic orders are generally delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Please note that both carriers will not deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

    International orders, due to distance and custom/import delays generally are in transit for 10 to 15 days from the date of shipping.

    CUSTOMS & DUTY For International Buyers - Please understand that delays due to foreign custom clearance etc. are a possibility, and the buyer is ultimately responsible for all duty and custom charges when applicable. We have noticed at times that the USPS/UPS tracking number does not update once the package is in a foreign country. Customers in the past were able to retrieve their packages from their local post office using the tracking number provided, although the mail service online site had no additional information

    IMPORTANT: For both national and international shipments, the buyer is ultimately responsible with providing a "safe" delivery address. We will not be responsible for items marked as delivered by USPS or UPS, but claimed by the customer to never have been received or stolen by neighbors, dogs or aliens. It is your responsibility as a buyer to track the package and make sure someone is there to receive it, or provide a safe environment where the postman can drop it off.

  • No, due to the real possibility of delays due to holidays, weather or other logistic factors, we cannot ship any orders to hotels or other temporary residences. Make sure someone will be at the location at all times, or the order we'll be canceled before it is processed.
