We all heard the old master say this, hence here is our new casual BJJ belt made specifically to keep our pants up while defending our honor when not at the academy. 

We envisioned our premium casual belt as an everyday extension of the sturdy Jiu-Jitsu ones we are all used in the gym.

The Pearl weave fabric features reinforced stitching for everlasting durability and a rectangular matte black metal belt buckle that will always stay in place and is easy to adjust. 

A few half sumo style patches adorn this handmade item, and if all these details weren't enough, we have included a specially designed Half Sumo elastic velcro tie ( See photos below)  which can be used to keep the belt neatly folded when stored in your bag, or wrapped around it while out and about.

Belts come packaged in a rugged vintage looking tin can that can be repurposed for different uses, and makes it look like a super cool gift.

The Belt That Saved My Life!

I recently ordered a belt from Half Sumo, and I was over the moon when it arrived. Excited to show it off, I decided to take my dog for a one-wheel ride. Picture this: me, stylishly strapped into my new belt, gliding smoothly... until I unexpectedly fell into a sinkhole!
While my super dog, Sharkira Sharkira (so awesome we named her twice)the husky managed to dodge disaster, I found myself dangling onto a root with one hand. In a moment of sheer brilliance (and with a dash of desperation), I whipped off my belt and tossed the other end to my pup.
What’s that? My belt turned into a canine rescue rope! You better believe she pulled me up like a champ. I'll never know what would’ve happened without it—maybe I’d still be down there, fashionably stuck!

VERY IMPORTANT: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a safe and proven address. Due to fraud concerns we will not refund any orders marked as delivered by USPS/UPS/DHL- Please double check the correct spelling of the address when placing the order. We will not be responsible for packages claimed as lost when the tracking shows it was delivered to the address provided. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • The system will calculate automatically the shipping cost at checkout based on the number of the items and their weight.

    You will have a chance to review your order and the shipping costs before you are asked to finalize your order and your Credit Card is charged.

  • Our staff will process your order within 24 business hrs and hand it over to the most reliable shipping provider for the selected destination ( UPS or USPS )

  • All US domestic orders are generally delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Please note that both carriers will not deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

    International orders, due to distance and custom/import delays generally are in transit for 10 to 15 days from the date of shipping.

    CUSTOMS & DUTY For International Buyers - Please understand that delays due to foreign custom clearance etc. are a possibility, and the buyer is ultimately responsible for all duty and custom charges when applicable. We have noticed at times that the USPS/UPS tracking number does not update once the package is in a foreign country. Customers in the past were able to retrieve their packages from their local post office using the tracking number provided, although the mail service online site had no additional information

    IMPORTANT: For both national and international shipments, the buyer is ultimately responsible with providing a "safe" delivery address. We will not be responsible for items marked as delivered by USPS or UPS, but claimed by the customer to never have been received or stolen by neighbors, dogs or aliens. It is your responsibility as a buyer to track the package and make sure someone is there to receive it, or provide a safe environment where the postman can drop it off.

  • No, due to the real possibility of delays due to holidays, weather or other logistic factors, we cannot ship any orders to hotels or other temporary residences. Make sure someone will be at the location at all times, or the order we'll be canceled before it is processed.
